SANTA BARBARA CHEER

The vision of FNL Cheer is to develop strong and confident children through the sport of Cheer. We are dedicated to building a FUN cheer program for ALL the kids while representing our games with enthusiasm and pride.

Registration now open!

1 practice/week

Practices will start week of July 29th

Season will run until early November

Cheer for 1 game/week - guarantee of 8 games minimum

Games take place on Friday afternoons/evenings and a few Sundays. Opening night will be end of Aug/early Sept. Location TBD.  

Registration includes FNL cheer top, skirt, briefs, ribbon and poms.  Also required are all white tennis shoes and low white socks, to be provided by the cheerleader. 

1st-3rd grade; $255

4th-8th grade: $280

After July 15th, a $30 late fee will be imposed

SANTA BARBARA FNL CHEER PROGRAM!
Santa Barbara FNL Cheer Program teaches young athletes essential skills to lead the crowd and support the FNL football teams. Santa Barbara FNL Cheer will teach each individual cheers, proper hand and body movements as well as simple halftime routines. Just a big focus on fun while each cheerleader learns important life skills such as team-building, positivity, good sportsmanship and leadership.
Our goal is to provide the best youth cheerleading experience in Santa Barbara!
Open to all Girls & Boys Grades 1st-8th.  No experience is required.
No tryouts.
Learn sideline cheers, proper arm movements, and halftime dances.
NO LIFTING/THROWS/FLIERS taught in this program.  Cheer at Friday Night Lights flag football games on most Friday afternoons/evenings.  There may also be a few optional Sundays scheduled during the season.
FNL Season runs from late August - early November
Practices will begin late July
Only 1 practice per week.

Learn from paid, experienced Cheer Directors!
Registration includes: FNL Cheer uniform:  Cheer top, skirt, poms & ribbon plus 1 practice a week and 1 game on Friday nights or Sundays.

FNL CHEER UNIFORM GUIDELINES

In order to present as a team, FNL cheerleaders are to only use the uniform as designated by the directors of SBFNL, including the following:

FNL cheer skirt

FNL cheer top

FNL briefs to wear under skirt

FNL ribbon for hair

FNL poms

White low socks - all white please

White tennis shoes - also all white

*Socks and shoes are to be provided by each individual cheerleader. Most tennis shoes will work, including Keds.

No Converse please.  :)

On game night...

Hair:  ½ up, ½ down OR  high ponytail

Hair can be straight or curled

Red ribbon (provided by FNL)

As the weather gets colder, I will look into tights and long-sleeved t-shirts for the kids to wear under their uniforms
